About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage and maintain the Over Short & Damage (OS&D) program to minimize losses and optimize inventory levels.
  • Process claims and warehouse transfers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inspect and correct Inventory Diagnostics to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform client exit and deletion procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Enter and release count plans within the Warehouse Management System to ensure seamless inventory management.
  • Provide picking support for stock outages, incorrect articles, and damage goods found during processing.
  • Balance transactions and location discrepancies within the Warehouse Management System to ensure accuracy.
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations to ensure quality and regulatory requirements are met.
Requirements
  • College diploma or University degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in inventory control with a contract logistics company.
  • Order Picker Certification is required for this role.
  • Knowledge of GMP regulations is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel).
