Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Law Specialist to join our team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and dispute resolution.
  • Draft and review tax documents, such as contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective tax planning and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the Province of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax law, with a focus on corporate and international tax.
