Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at J&R Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, ensuring that all transportation operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on transportation operations, including metrics on driver performance, vehicle maintenance, and cargo handling.
- Training and Development: Train and develop our truck drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Material Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support our transportation operations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our transportation team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of our operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
