Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure effective task management
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business objectives
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Establish work schedules and manage store operations to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cashiers, retail salespersons, and sales clerks
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
