Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Registered Psychologist to join our team for the school year. This role will support various programs at our agency locations, including Assessment and Therapy Services, Community Services, and ECS/Elementary Education Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable and support learning for youth and children with disabilities in school, home, and community settings.
  • Support parents through parenting concerns and challenges, offering resources and strategies from a trauma-informed and strength-based perspective.
  • Conduct and score various assessments, provide strategies and suggestions to caregivers/parents, teachers, physicians, and other individuals on how to meet the client's needs.
  • Develop treatment goals, provide assessments, counselling, and play therapy according to client needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and families in supporting student access to curriculum and engagement in school activities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology.
  • Familiarity with the Canadian Code of Ethics for Psychologists, Code of Professional Conduct, and other relevant legislation.
  • Experience in counselling with youth and children with special needs and their families.
  • Experience with assessment, intervention, and counseling in various areas, including psychoeducational, social/emotional, behavioural, Autism, FASD, and Learning Disabilities.
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License and a clean driving record.
