Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at PK Main Inc. as a key member of our food service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring seamless food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Reporting Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, highlighting areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and a high level of professionalism.
  • Work Schedule and Language
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.
    • Work Language: English.
