Job Title: Finish Carpenter

Sequoia Doors Inc. is seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instructing apprentices and operating CADD and other computer software systems.
  • Assembling wood products such as window sashes, doors, boxes, pallets, ladders, and barrels.
  • Repairing furniture frames and refinishing wood surfaces.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The work environment is noisy and dusty. You will be required to work in a millwork/pre-fab shop setting.

  • Excellent judgement and reliability.
Transportation:
