About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist to join our team at Khalsa Forming Inc. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, to ensure accurate and efficient construction.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Work Environment

As a Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
