We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Parkland at the Lakes in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and plan resident care, implementing and evaluating treatment plans in collaboration with medical professionals and care conferences.
- Provide leadership to health services staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Administer medications, apply dressings and treatments, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance and behavior of other health care staff.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Registration with the provincial Practical Nursing regulatory body.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
- A clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening.
- Previous experience working with elderly in long-term care or senior living environments.
- A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
