Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment to ensure cleanliness of dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities utilized.
  • Portion and package food items appropriately.
  • Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food items for service.
  • Assist customers at counters or buffet setups.
  • Take and process customer orders efficiently.
  • Utilize manual and electrical appliances for food preparation tasks such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
  • Sanitize kitchen areas including work surfaces, cupboards, storage spaces, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning supplies safely.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
  • Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
  • Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables as needed.
