Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive vehicles safely and efficiently to pick up and deliver goods
  • Provide excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch in a timely manner
  • Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products as required
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes and reduce delivery times
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
Work Environment

This role requires a physically demanding work environment, with frequent handling of heavy loads. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
