Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disability Management and Attendance Lead to join our team at Providence Healthcare. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of disability management principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Supervision: Provide leadership and supervision to the Disability and Attendance Management team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  2. Disability Management: Develop, implement, and evaluate disability management programs and policies, ensuring that they are aligned with Providence Healthcare's overall strategy and goals.
  3. Attendance Management: Develop and implement attendance management strategies and programs, aimed at reducing absenteeism and promoting a healthy and productive work environment.
  4. Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR, management, and employees, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on disability and attendance management issues.
  5. Policy Development and Implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures related to disability and attendance management, ensuring that they are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  6. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to employees on disability and attendance management, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  7. Reporting and Analysis: Analyze data and reports on disability and attendance management, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and making recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements
  1. Education: Master's degree in disability management or a related field.
  2. Experience: Seven years of recent experience in disability management, preferably in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of disability management principles and practices.
  3. Certification: Certification as a Disability Management Professional is an asset.
