Lex Metal Fabricators Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team. As a Welder Fitter, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and products using various welding and metalworking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts and products using various welding and metalworking techniques.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. The ability to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines is essential.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, team player, initiative, accurate, and judgement.
