The successful candidate will be tasked with implementing the North American Risk and Regulatory Services (RRS) Operational Risk strategy, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, minimizing operational risks, and upholding exceptional operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the North American RRS team in fulfilling the Operational Risk strategy
- Formulate and implement Operational Risk Objectives that align with organizational goals
- Utilize data analysis to address challenges, improve processes, and strengthen controls
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to pinpoint and mitigate significant non-financial risks
- Engage with regulatory bodies and industry associations to remain updated and influence strategic decisions
Required Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Responsibility for the execution of the operational risk strategy
- Act as a representative for Global Markets in various forums
- Design and implement controls to manage risks and reduce potential losses
- Ability to interpret business challenges, propose actionable solutions, and execute plans effectively
- Exemplary leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities
Knowledge Requirements:
- Preferred undergraduate or graduate degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of Capital Markets and financial institutions
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices
- Commitment to ongoing learning and staying abreast of regulatory changes
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary range of $68,000 to $126,000; compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
