About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Insurance Broker to join our team at Gallagher. As a Personal Lines Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and handling client file activities to maintain retention targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquiring expiry dates at time of policy renewal and identifying opportunities to place new business
  • Attaining premium growth targets by cross-selling, up-selling appropriate coverages, and binding new business
  • Maintaining professional relationships with key underwriters to ensure maximization of new business growth and retention opportunities
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Personal Insurance experience
  • Valid RIBO license or willingness to acquire within 3 months
  • CIP, FCIP, or CAIB designation or working towards completion is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to and work collaboratively with various individuals
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and experience with Broker Management Systems like EPIC and rating engines is an asset
