Accounting Technician

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Potentia Human Resources Inc. in Kelowna, BC. As a dynamic public practice accounting firm, we provide a diverse range of services to clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process financial transactions, including GST, PST, and WCB returns.
- Interact with clients to gather necessary documents for bookkeeping and tax returns.
- Assist senior accountants with client bookkeeping needs and provide support to other staff members as needed.
- 3 or more years of senior bookkeeping and/or accounting experience, preferably in a public practice environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, including Sage, QuickBooks, CaseWare, and Profile.
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite, and exceptional Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential data with integrity and maintain a high level of organizational and time management skills.
