About the Role

Creekside Accounting Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers, and balancing accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and other deductions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
