About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Everguard Fire Safety Limited. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Testing: Install fire alarm systems, including electronic equipment, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, including inspecting and testing equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire alarm industry, with a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and industry standards.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of electronic equipment and fire alarm systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as NFPA 72 or CSA Z32.
