About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Everguard Fire Safety Limited. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Testing: Install fire alarm systems, including electronic equipment, in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and industry standards.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems, including electronic equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspections and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, including testing and inspection results.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience in the field of fire alarm systems.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, including electronic equipment and industry standards. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as NFPA 72 or CSA Z32.
