About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Technician to join our team at Everguard. As a Fire Protection Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing fire protection equipment and fire sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and inspect fire protection equipment and fire sprinkler systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and operational/product manuals
  • Determine specific solutions and recommendations for customers
  • Prepare materials for daily execution of assigned work orders
  • Complete daily reports of completed work orders and activities
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed and safety leadership is demonstrated in all aspects of the job
  • Mentor other team members, including trainees as assigned
Requirements
  • 2+ years of field experience installing, inspecting, maintaining, modifying, and servicing sprinkler systems and fire pumps
  • Appropriate trade training or RFPT training with sprinkler systems and/or fire pump endorsements
  • Valid driver's license
