As the Network Security Domain Consultant Lead, you will serve as the technical authority for your Domain Consultant team. This team is responsible for delivering expert guidance and insights throughout clients' network security and zero trust initiatives. Collaborating closely with Solutions Consultant Managers and District Sales Managers, you will cultivate strong relationships with clients, assisting them in identifying and mitigating advanced cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping the capabilities of our Domain Consultant teams, providing essential training and technical support as a subject matter expert. Furthermore, you will relay valuable feedback to the product management team regarding feature enhancements and product development based on insights gathered from your clientele. In partnership with the systems engineering team, your efforts will focus on displacing competitor technologies, expanding market presence within targeted major accounts, and ultimately ensuring that clients feel secure as they leverage our solutions for safe digital transactions.

  • Recruit and onboard top-tier talent for the Domain Consultant team.
  • Collaborate with peers to create a comprehensive training program for Domain Consultants.
  • Mentor and evaluate team members, fostering engagement and career success.
  • Build strong partnerships with Solutions Consultant Managers to ensure comprehensive technology coverage in key projects.
  • Provide technical leadership during customer engagements, sharing insights on security trends and best practices.
  • Offer Domain Consultant expertise and support team members during resource conflicts or absences.
  • Drive innovation to enhance technical validation and proof of concept success rates for Network Security solutions.
  • Present as an expert to clients at all organizational levels, from technical staff to executives.
  • Lead discussions on industry trends and evolving security challenges.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and position our solutions as the superior choice.
  • Assist your team in documenting High-Level Designs (HLD) and key use cases to ensure effective implementation and realization of value from Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Review and guide the technical validation strategies of your team, including proof of value test plans and customer readiness assessments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients to solidify reference accounts and support account teams in business development.
  • Act as a point of escalation for pre-sales issues and collaborate with post-sales teams to resolve challenges.
  • Engage with product teams to define requirements and roadmap strategies for our network security clients.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor sales strategies.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the region.

Your Experience
  • Proven experience managing customer-facing sales engineering or solutions architect teams.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales engineering related to Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security, or SSE/SASE.
  • In-depth knowledge of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, CASB, Proxy, DLP, and BYOD solutions.
  • Industry insight into security product market trends and an understanding of our technology roadmap.
  • Experience in delivering comprehensive security solutions.
  • Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Experience in leading large teams, resource allocation, and managing project efficiency.
  • Fluency in English.

The compensation for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. The starting base salary is expected to be between $227,400 and $312,750 annually, along with potential bonuses and stock options. A description of our employee benefits is available upon request.
