Job Title: Parts Person

We are seeking a skilled Parts Person to join our team at Brandt, a leading manufacturer and distributor of heavy-duty truck and equipment parts. As a Parts Person, you will play a critical role in assisting customers with their parts needs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unloading, receiving, and storing incoming parts and materials in the warehouse and yard
  • Locating and shipping parts and materials to customers and other branches
  • Providing assistance to service technicians as required
  • Placing inventory stock orders and making inventory adjustments
  • Accurately documenting and reporting all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
  • Using parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
  • Performing other duties as required
Requirements:
  • Effective customer service skills and ability to build lasting partnerships with customers
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons, including working shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and company policies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from coworkers, managers, customers, and the general public
  • Effective problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
  • Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
  • Journeyperson Certification considered an asset
  • Experience working in the heavy-duty truck, fabrication, and/or manufacturing industry considered an asset
