Role Overview

The Precision Health Platform Workflows team is tasked with creating scalable, easily composable, and executable care pathways and operational workflows. As a Software Developer within this team, you will apply your robust system software architecture and programming expertise to develop event-driven solutions that bridge the gap between research and practical healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primarily engage in coding activities.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, UX designers, hardware engineers, mobile developers, and firmware specialists to produce highly integrated and innovative products.
  • Work alongside colleagues across the Research organization to enhance our development methodologies.
Required Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in delivering software using a general-purpose programming language (e.g., Go, C/C++, Java, C#).
  • Experience with relational database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Go, SQL, and/or Java.
  • Hands-on experience in developing event-driven applications and/or microservices.
  • Background in healthcare or life sciences, particularly with HL7 FHIR standards.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like GCP or AWS.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
