Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Medicine department at Providence Health Care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role:
  • Provide safe and respectful nursing care to patients, according to established policies and procedures.
  • Conduct head-to-toe assessments, monitor patient status, and communicate with the RN/RPN as needed.
  • Administer medications, including narcotics, and monitor their effects.
  • Document patient care, including assessments, status, progress, treatments, and discharge planning.
  • Participate in staff meetings, special projects, and hospital committees to provide feedback on patient care and nursing practice.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses.
  • Registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant.
  • Current basic cardiac life support certification.
