Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home setting, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and ensure infection control
  • Conduct specimen collection and monitor nutritional intake
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care
  • Monitor established respiratory therapy and intravenous therapy
  • Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Monitor patients' progress and evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
Work Environment:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and attention to detail are essential for this role.
