Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for managing risk and financial excellence across various projects, forging and nurturing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members. Your expertise will be essential in driving business growth and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Communicate and manage clients effectively and efficiently, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Engagement Planning and Leadership: Plan and lead engagements, executing a client service plan on complex projects and working closely with partners to identify and mitigate business risks.
  • Team Mentoring: Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their careers.

Requirements:

  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA): A minimum of 3 years of experience as a senior in Public Practice, with a strong understanding of relevant tax laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, CaseWare, Profile, TaxCycle, Jazzit, and Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage multiple clients, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
