Landscaping Services Manager Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Services Manager to join our team at Mr. Lawnmower Landscaping Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our landscaping projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for projects
* Complete daily job site journals and work orders
* Conduct weekly toolbox meetings to ensure team members are aware of project details and expectations
* Maintain and clean company vehicles and equipment
* Operate various pieces of equipment, including those required for landscaping and construction projects
* Hold a valid Class G License and provide own transportation to project sites
* Work weekends and long hours as required
* Schedule materials and equipment for the next day
* Schedule and run crews to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
* Plant trees, shrubs, and lay sod as required
* Rake, level, and grade landscapes to ensure they are even and visually appealing
* Install hard and soft landscapes, including wet lay and asset

**Requirements**

* High school diploma
* CLT/CLP or Two-year technical college certificate in horticulture an asset
* Valid first aid certificate an asset
* WHMIS training an asset
* 2-4 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
