Deciem is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our manufacturing engineering team at our production facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of manufacturing engineering and driving operational excellence. You will work closely with suppliers, manage budgets, and lead a team of talented engineers to achieve continuous improvement goals.
- Develop and Execute Strategic Vision: Establish a clear roadmap for manufacturing engineering that aligns with Deciem's overall business objectives.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers, source equipment and materials, and negotiate favorable contracts.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports for engineering-related activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Performance Measurement: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth.
