Financial Analyst - FAcT

CAE is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program. As a key member of the program management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of this historic multi-billion-dollar CAE project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the FAcT program with all financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, profit, and cash flow.
  • Support the financial analysts' team in various areas, including monthly closing, preparation of financial reports, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Verify and analyze monthly financial figures.
  • Collaborate closely with management to drive business decisions.
  • Participate in the annual budget and forecasting processes.
  • Support contract negotiations with subcontractors and SkyAlyne.
  • Price contract changes.
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses.
Requirements:
  • University degree in accounting or finance.
  • Recognized accounting certification (CMA, CA, CGA).
  • Minimum of 6 years of previous financial analyst responsibilities, including financial reporting and analyzing financial performance.
  • Ability to work on projects with minimal guidance.
  • Consolidation experience.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and Oracle systems, an asset.
  • Fluency in English and French.
