Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of various projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and budget.
- Define project objectives and develop comprehensive project plans.
- Efficiently allocate resources and manage project finances.
- Lead and coordinate team members, promoting effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain thorough project documentation and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
Project Scope:
Projects may encompass activities such as replacing tanks, piping, chutes, and bin repairs, among other sustaining capital initiatives.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 10-hour workdays.
Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- P. Eng registration with APEGS is an asset.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, including MS Project.
- Experience with project management software such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting project deadlines.
- Demonstrated active listening skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
