Pharmascience is seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join its team at the Candiac site. As a key member of the packaging team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of products from internal and external manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply and ensure compliance with employee safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and effective procedures on the packaging lines.
  • Participate in the implementation, SAT/FAT, and engineering testing/validation of new visual inspection and packaging machines.
  • Operate the visual inspection and packaging machines, and work at each station of the packaging line.
  • Accurately complete documentation relating to packaging, including room and equipment logbooks, inspection and packaging batch records, status labels, and printing reports.
  • Clean equipment, production areas, and transfer bins.
  • Perform in-process tests on the packaging line and document in visual inspection and packaging batch records.
  • Support the supervisor in establishing the configuration of equipment and work tools, developing work instructions, and providing training.

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Good team spirit and organizational skills to meet established timelines
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal relations
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment
  • Ability to organize work to meet quality standards

  • Bilingualism in French and English (communicating with suppliers to support new systems)
