Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Agnes Valdez. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move clients safely, with a weight handling capacity of 45-60 kg.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and schedules.
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment, with optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
