About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team at TLA Express Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational plans to ensure the smooth execution of logistics activities.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of more than 20 people, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Technical Support: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to effectively coordinate with other work units and departments.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Word and MS Windows
  • Security and Safety: Must undergo a criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and reliability
