Caregiver - Nursing Support Professional

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nursing care and support to our clients, including assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and providing emotional support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with Daily Living Activities: Help clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
- Provide Nursing Care: Administer medications, take vital signs, and provide wound care as needed.
- Assist with Mobility and Transfers: Help clients with walking, transferring, and positioning, as well as assisting with the use of wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
- Provide Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, as well as assisting with social activities and outings.
- Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment: Ensure that the client's living space is clean and safe, including assisting with laundry and light housekeeping.
- Education: College diploma or certificate in a related field, such as nursing or personal support work.
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursing care setting, preferably in a personal support worker role.
- Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and any other relevant certifications.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
