About the Position

Columbia Sportswear is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service by responding to consumer inquiries, resolving issues, and making product recommendations.
  2. Product Knowledge: Acquire in-depth knowledge of our products, including features, benefits, and availability.
  3. Visual Merchandising: Maintain store visual standards, including merchandise displays and store cleanliness.
  4. Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including sales, returns, and exchanges.
  5. Teamwork: Collaborate with fellow employees to achieve sales goals and support store operations.
Requirements
  1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  2. Experience: 2 years or less of retail experience, with a focus on customer service and sales.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Availability: Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent movement and standing, with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. You must be able to communicate clearly with others and work in a team environment.
