Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Michaels. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current promotions, sales, and product features.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment, including working varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Customer Service Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to learn and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
