Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers by offering legendary customer service and exceptional product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions through product recommendations and personalized service.
  • Promote various company programs and initiatives to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Maintain a visually appealing store environment by adhering to visual presentation standards, including merchandise recovery, restocking, and remerchandising.
  • Respond to and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist in other areas of the store as needed to support business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and trends related to the outdoor lifestyle to provide expert advice to customers.

Requirements:

  • One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to evaluate customer needs and make recommendations based on those needs.
  • Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to use good judgment and logic in problem-solving.
  • Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is an asset.
