What will your contributions be?

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the Digital Transformation strategy and its operational execution. You will collaborate with key executives, sponsors, leaders, and business teams across various initiatives to embed change throughout the organization. To excel in this position, the candidate must possess strong experience in program management, the ability to influence without direct authority, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Digital Strategy Development

  • Work alongside leadership to define and refine the digital transformation strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Create business cases for new initiatives and present them for approval.
  • Conduct market research and stay informed about industry trends to identify opportunities for digital innovation.

Program Planning and Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for digital transformation initiatives.
  • Prioritize a portfolio of initiatives in conjunction with the deployment of Operational Excellence and IT to ensure strategic alignment and desired business outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regularly communicate project updates, challenges, and successes to leadership and key stakeholders.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and issues related to digital initiatives and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address challenges to ensure project success.

Performance Measurement

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly evaluate the performance of digital transformation projects.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization and improvement.

How to excel in this role?

  • You have a proven track record of at least five (5) years as a Project/Program Manager, leading digital transformation initiatives in a similar sector.
  • You hold a Business degree; an MBA or PMP certification would be advantageous.
  • You possess a strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and their applications in business.
  • You have a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities, capable of developing creative ideas/solutions by engaging business and subject matter experts while challenging the status quo.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, set business goals, develop business cases, and execute plans.
  • You possess excellent facilitation and communication skills in both English and French, including strong written skills in both languages.
  • You exhibit exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • You think quickly and creatively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
