Opportunity Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Planner to contribute to our operations in the Montreal office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and consolidate project scope from various stakeholders, ensuring accurate representation in timelines.
  • Develop and uphold comprehensive project schedules, maintaining data accuracy throughout all phases.
  • Implement customized coding systems, adhere to client specifications, and manage resource and production databases.
  • Assist in resource forecasting, identifying needs for labor, materials, and equipment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze construction productivity, establishing baselines for estimates in collaboration with the construction team.
  • Generate reports and dashboards at each project milestone to communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Monitor schedule variances, analyze trends, and track key performance indicators.
  • Create a process for measuring progress and evaluating performance data.
  • Manage schedule adjustments and assess project impacts, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct audits of schedules, including those from subcontractors, and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update and refine planning data and strategies.
  • Support the integration of scheduling with 3D modeling and cost analysis, reporting on cash flow and sequencing simulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in planning for large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and plan complex projects effectively.
  • Proficient in planning software, including Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Hard Dollar, PowerBI, and Synchro is advantageous.
