Bakery Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at 2850959 ONTARIO INC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry production, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bake mixed dough and batters: Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and cakes to meet customer demand.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods: Apply creative designs and decorations to cakes and other baked goods to enhance their visual appeal.
  • Draw up production schedules: Plan and coordinate the production of baked goods to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Train staff: Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure quality of products: Monitor and maintain the quality of baked goods to ensure they meet established standards.
  • Operate machinery: Safely operate bakery equipment and machinery to produce high-quality baked goods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work hours: 32 hours per week.
