About the Role

CarePartners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team in Brockville. As a PSW, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to patients in their homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and medication management.
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to special diets as determined by the care plan.
  • Ensure a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, transfer techniques, and home safety practices.

Requirements

  • A valid driver's license and vehicle.
  • A valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check.

Benefits for New Ontario PSW Grads

New Ontario PSW grads may be eligible to receive a $10,000 bonus for enrolling in an approved PSW program in Ontario (on or after April 1, 2023) and committing to work with us in a Full-Time position for 12 months.
