Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

At RT Medical, we're committed to delivering exceptional patient care and support to our clients and customers. As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), you'll play a vital role in our team, providing high-quality care to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities.

About the Role:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and assess residents' health conditions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Provide wound care and assist with dressing changes, as well as educate residents and their families about health conditions and treatments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Document residents' health status and care provided, maintaining accurate records.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed, demonstrating exceptional crisis-resolution skills.
Requirements:
  • Diploma from a recognized RPN program or equivalent.
  • Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Experience working in a long-term care or retirement home setting is considered an asset.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Updated immunization records, including completion of a two-step tuberculosis test within the last 6 months.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector checks are required upon hire.
