Your Responsibilities at Stantec

  • Establish project directives and draft service proposals;
  • Serve as project manager and/or lead engineer for various project scales;
  • Develop electrical schematics and prepare specifications for equipment, fabrication estimates, and installation bids;
  • Oversee wiring diagrams, connection schematics, cable inventories, and material listings;
  • Conduct technical analyses and produce documentation such as calculation reports, estimates, and technical reports;
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams;
  • Foster and maintain client relationships;
  • Travel to project locations as required;

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience;
  • Registered member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ);
  • Strong expertise in protection, control, and automation systems for high and medium voltage electrical substations;
  • Experience in consulting engineering, hydroelectric facilities, and/or projects involving utilities;
  • Proficient in both French and English (written and spoken);
  • Experience with short-circuit calculations, arc flash assessments, and protection coordination studies;
  • Familiarity with grounding studies (preferred);
  • Knowledge of relay settings (preferred);
  • Experience in commissioning (preferred);
  • ASP Construction Card (health and safety on construction sites);
