About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Technician to join our team at FNX-INNOV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects and providing technical support to our project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth project execution;
  • Conduct quality control checks in accordance with Hydro-Québec and industry standards (CSA, ACI, ISO, SN);
  • Provide technical support and coordination with the engineering team;
  • Collaborate with project managers to create project schedules and identify potential issues;
  • Procure and manage construction materials and equipment;
  • Identify and report quality issues and non-conformities;
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion;
  • Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

  • DEC in Civil or Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in construction or a related field;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Valid driver's license (class 5);
  • Experience in similar environments, such as Hydro-Québec, is an asset;
  • Fluency in French (spoken and written).
