Job Title: Shop Supervisor

Andritz AG is seeking a highly skilled Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Refiner Service center for Refiner and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day operations of the Refiner Rebuild Center, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management.
  2. Oversee the refurbishment and rebuilding of refiner components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  4. Supervise the shipping department, ensuring timely receipt and shipment of items, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  5. Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  6. Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  7. Ensure project targets are met, including labor efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
  8. Maintain production schedule priorities by closely monitoring project timelines and actively participating in production meetings to ensure alignment with overall project goals and deadlines.
  9. Special projects as assigned / required.
  10. Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing or service-related background in close-tolerance machining, metal working, materials, capital planning.
  11. SAP experience strongly preferred.
