Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Shop Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Refiner Service center. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management. You'll also oversee the refurbishment and rebuilding of refiner components, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Refiner Rebuild Center's daily operations, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Oversee the refurbishment and rebuilding of refiner components, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure project targets are met, including labor efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or service-related background.
  • Ten plus years of experience in close-tolerance machining, metal working, materials, and capital planning.
  • TPM, Lean, and 5S experience strongly preferred.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
