Job Title: Press Shop Supervisor and Planner

Job Summary:

The Press Shop Supervisor and Planner is responsible for overseeing department operations to ensure safety, quality, and production standards are consistently met. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic planning, managing daily press shop activities and coordinating production schedules in a build-to-order environment, to deliver high-quality products on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize production processes and effectively allocate resources to meet customer requirements.
  • Manage and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to meet production demands.
  • Develop and manage production schedules that align customer orders with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to drive continuous process improvements.
  • Ensure product quality and adhere to responsibilities as per KeepRite's Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a press shop environment, with a strong understanding of automated press shop equipment and operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting, with demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams to consistently meet or exceed performance goals.

Location: 70 Morton Ave, Brantford N3R 7J7 / 159 Roy Blvd, Brantford, N3R 7K1 (On-site, 5 days a week)

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm straight shifts (Subject to change dependent upon business needs with appropriate notice)
