Clinical Nurse - Internal Medicine

The Clinical Nurse in the Internal Medicine department plays a crucial role in delivering direct patient care while adhering to the established hospital policies and protocols.

Essential Qualifications
  • Valid general class registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is mandatory
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a medical setting is required
  • Completion of the Coronary Care I certification within the past two years or recent coronary experience is essential
  • Familiarity with Cardiac and Renal Care practices
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is necessary
  • Successful completion of a Physical Assessment course is required
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Telemetry experience and IV certification
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development are vital
  • Proven ability to apply the Nursing process and execute detailed procedures
  • Capability to perform all responsibilities outlined in the position description is essential
