About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Analyst to join our team at Vyoma Global Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement a strategic blueprint for database deployment and management.
  • Design, develop, and maintain computer databases to support business operations.
  • Document customer requirements and reporting needs to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Liaise with staff to ensure data requirements, collection, and availability meet business needs.
  • Provide expert advice on database management tools and best practices.
  • Setup and configure IT infrastructure to support database access and management.
  • Test and validate data models and database management systems.
  • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models.
  • Research and document data requirements, collection, and administration policies.
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access, usage, backup, and recovery of data.
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators to develop and implement data policies and standards.
  • Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
  • Support social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees through access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
  • Support foreign credential recognition and offer mentorship programs to pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers to support their career development and advancement.
