Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize the recovery of overdue payments from clients while minimizing collection expenses and loan defaults on assigned accounts.
  • Engage in timely and effective follow-up discussions regarding collections on loans at various stages of delinquency, as well as on accounts presenting potential risks to the Bank.
  • Conduct payment collection activities to ensure optimal delinquency ratios and minimize loan losses for the Bank.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the acceptance, rejection, or modification of payment terms and settlements, adhering to Bank policies.
  • Take full ownership of all inquiries, concerns, and arrangements related to payments or collections.
  • Demonstrate a confident yet personable presence during phone interactions.
  • Enhance your knowledge through daily interactions with Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Collection Officers.
  • Utilize significant prior experience in collections or customer service, primarily through telephone communication.
  • Possess a strong background in collecting overdue accounts within the financial services sector or managing delinquent accounts receivable.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with predictive dialer systems and payment collection technologies is advantageous.
